Powder Springs is now Revelstoke Mountain Resort

This resort had only one double chair until 2007. It was not even open every day and therefore not really worth it. However, they get great amounts of snow, and it was at least an option when heliskiing in Revelstoke was not possible due to weather or any other reason.

The “resort” closed at the end of the 2006/2007 season and reopened on the 22nd of December 2007 as the new Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

The new resort is a completely different story, and from now on, I’m sure you should add this destination to any ski trip in Canada. It opened with one 8-passenger gondola and one high-speed quad, and they already have added a 2nd high-speed quad chair. Over the coming years, it will grow to become one of the biggest resorts in Canada.
