The resort is located next to Sölden. With high-speed quad and 6-pack chairs, as well as several 8-passenger gondolas, this resort is, without any question, ready for any size crowd. According to locals, not even peak season is an issue in terms of long lines. Conditions permitting, this resort has to be heaven for off-piste skiing. I skied there in November 2003 on great powder but with only a few chairs open. In November 2005 and 2007, the opening was limited as well, but I could see the potential. Then again, in 2008, they got quite a lot of snow, but combined with the heavy wind, it was everywhere but the resort. Pretty average, and therefore, after so many times without ever hitting it with great snow, I can’t tell you if it is fantastic…

DON’T MISS IT! Absolutely a must-go area. Big, lots of off-piste. A book, Abseits der Piste rund um den Arlberg, describes a number of off-piste skiing. This region will keep you busy for days or weeks.
