36 hours of nuking snow. Followed by a Sunday morning with clearing skies. Yep. Sounds like a Cortina day.

Today was special though. For the first time in Cortina pow shredding history, lift opening times were coordinated to provide a seamless transition from the base to the top for the early risers. Hopefully this is going to be the norm; nobody will miss standing around in the cold waiting for Chair 4 to open.

Sure, it’s sad to see the last fresh lines disappearing so early in the day, but the clouds will roll back in before long so we can do it all again.
